Building on the success of BOLD by Design Magazine’s summer premiere at the June 2021 High Point Market, our marketing and events team has doubled down on summer engagement with three unique and fun-filled event experiences during Las Vegas Market running Aug 22 - 26.
Developing partnerships with brands and marketplaces including luxury brand Phillips Collection, IMC - International Market Centers, Las Vegas Design Center, and the Central California / Nevada Chapter of ASID.
Curating special events, and educational sessions to help connect and share the summer edition of BOLD by Design Magazine with the West Coast Design Community. Adding event engagement for market attendees to gather and reconnect, plus offering a chance to mix and mingle with the magazine's entire team.
“Burnout to Blowout! - Rejuvenate and Inspire for the Design Fatigued”
Aug 22, from 3:00-4:00 pm Bldg B, WorldView on Sixteen, marks the first of three market events in partnership with LVDC, ASID, and BOLD by Design Magazine for an educational panel; “Burnout to Blowout! - Rejuvenate and Inspire for the Design Fatigued”. Featuring expert panelists Wendy Glaister - Wendy Glaister Interiors, Jamie Stringham - Interior Dynamics Interior Design, George Brazil - SagreraBrazil Design, and Product Designer & Artist - Jackie Von Tobel.
Moderated by Julia Molly, our Empress-in-Chief, and founder of BOLD - Business of Luxury Design. Lending her expertise as an expert in the luxury design industry, Julia travels the country sharing her experience as a world-renowned business consultant and interior design coach, and as a seasoned moderator/guest speaker to audiences large and small.
The designer panel discussion focuses on ways designers can avoid burnout while sharing, with the audience their experiences, tips of the trade, and offering inspiration for the design industry. Delivering clear examples for how to rejuvenate a design business, how to foster stronger client relationships, and how to enforce client boundaries, while maintaining a sense of sanity. Relating her own experience in the luxury market, Julia delivers useful and practical tools for designers who have felt the overwhelming strain of the last year.
2021 ANDYZ Awards Celebration
Aug 22, 4:30-6:30 pm Bldg B, WorldView on Sixteen - the second event during the summer launch is for this year’s 2021 ANDYZ Awards Celebration, presented in partnership with Las Vegas Design Center. With Co-master of Ceremonies Julia Molloy, founder of BOLD by Design Magazine and award-winning Product & Interior Designer Christopher Grubb, Arch Interiors Design Group, Inc.
The ANDYZ Awards serve to recognize exceptional interior design across 10 different residential, contract, and student categories. Projects were submitted by interior designers, architects, and design students throughout the western regions of the United States. Celebrating each year's best design projects this prestigious design award forum is created by the California Central / Nevada Chapter of ASID.

& Phillips Collection Sip & Shop Event
Monday, Aug 23, 4:30-6:30 pm Bldg A-A202, is the crowning event for BOLD by Design Magazine’s Las Vegas Summer Launch Series, created in partnership with luxury brand Phillips Collection, at their beautiful Las Vegas Design Center Showroom.
The Sip & Shop Event will offer delicious catering by Chef Sterling, featuring modern cuisine consisting of Churrasco Shrimp Toast with Avocado and his special Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, accompanied by Watermelon Basil infused cocktails and mocktails.
Planned event engagement also includes a step & repeat photography booth where guests can pose with fellow attendees to commemorate being back together again. In addition to a special event segment where guests are invited to sign BOLD by Design Magazine’s Empress-in-Chief’s blazer, which she will be wearing during the following day’s market.
